DCODE NEXUS · DOWNLOADER
Terms & Conditions
Effective and last updated: 1 November 2026
These terms govern Dcode SoundCloud Downloader at downloader.dcode.nexus, operated by Dan Collyer of Dcode Nexus. Contact admin@dcode.nexus for support, rights concerns or questions. By requesting access and using the downloader, you accept these terms.
Permission to download
Only submit audio you own, have permission to download, or may lawfully download under an applicable licence or other legal right. Public availability does not by itself grant download or redistribution rights. Respect the creator’s copyright, licence conditions, attribution requirements and SoundCloud’s applicable terms.
You must not use the service to circumvent access restrictions, access private or paywalled material without authorisation, remove rights information or distribute infringing files. Private, blocked, preview-only and unsupported audio may be unavailable. We do not grant any rights to third-party audio.
Email access
Provide an address you control and request an access email only for yourself. The downloader unlocks after the server receives acceptance from its configured email service and saves the access record. Acceptance does not guarantee inbox delivery. The signed access cookie lasts 24 hours in the browser that made the request; another browser or a cleared cookie may require a new request.
Requesting access does not create a marketing subscription. Our Privacy Policy explains the required email collection, private contacts records, provider processing, cookies and your choices. Do not enter another person’s address without their authority.
Using the downloader
Use a compatible modern browser with JavaScript, necessary cookies, enough storage and sufficient memory. The browser downloads and converts supported audio locally. Keep the page open until conversion finishes. Conversion time depends on track length, your connection and your device. Saving and backing up the final file is your responsibility.
The service currently limits tracks to four hours and downloaded source audio to 200 MB. Collections show up to 100 tracks at a time, and you select a track to prepare. MP3 conversion does not improve the quality of the original audio. We do not promise a particular bitrate, availability of every track or uninterrupted access.
Fair use and security
Do not attack the site, automate bulk email requests, scrape contacts, bypass request limits, forge access cookies or use the media endpoint as a general proxy. Email requests are limited to protect the service. We may limit or suspend abusive requests, or temporarily pause access for maintenance, security, provider outages or rights complaints. Limits do not give permission for activity that would otherwise be unlawful.
Ownership and third parties
Dcode Nexus’s branding and original application material belong to their respective owners. Third-party software remains subject to its own licences, listed in the open-source notices. SoundCloud and Google are independent third parties with their own terms and privacy policies. This downloader is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by SoundCloud. Advertisements do not constitute our endorsement of an advertiser.
Service limitations and your rights
The service is provided without a fee at present and depends on third-party systems. We take reasonable care, but technical errors, unavailable tracks and interrupted conversions can occur. To the extent permitted by law, we do not promise that the service will always be available or suitable for every device or purpose.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any non-excludable right, consumer guarantee or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law. Any limitation applies only where the law permits it. Contact us if the service causes a problem so we can investigate.
Rights complaints and changes
If you believe the service is being used to infringe your rights, email the public SoundCloud link, your contact information and a description of your rights to admin@dcode.nexus. Do not send passwords or sensitive identity documents in an initial complaint.
We may update these terms as the service changes. The updated date identifies the current version, and changes apply to future use rather than removing rights you already hold. These terms are governed by applicable Australian law without displacing mandatory rights available to you elsewhere.
